Larry Williams

I have been a veteran of the insurance industry since 1979. I started my career as a Service Supervisor and became a State Farm Agent in June of 1984. A graduate of Illinois State University, I earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in political science. I am a highly respected alumnus of Illinois State University and am honored to have been inducted into the University’s Hall of Fame and conferred the “Larry C. William’s Seminar room.”

I am a founding board member of B.E.S.T. (Business Emmet School Team), which is a collaboration between the Emmet Public School in the Austin neighborhood in Chicago, IL and State Farm Agents and Associates for over 20 years. I have enjoyed serving as a mentor to at risk youth, sharing a positive outlook and what is possible for them to achieve. I am a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated and an active Board Member with the local American Cancer Society. I have a beautiful wife Annie and two children, D’Ana and Michael.

I have attained the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, CPCU®, Chartered Life Underwriter, CLU®, Chartered Financial Advisory, ChFC® and the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living, CASL®. These designations are not just letters after my name, but to let you know I value customers’ needs, and I wanted to continue to educate myself to serve customers.
